Training Manager

By the time I had completed my last year of high school, I had decided that Pharmaceutical sales was a job that would fit me well. I enjoyed my part time job in sales, and the medical industry had always interested me.

I chose to do a Nursing and Health Promotion degree to head me in the right direction and I then worked as a nurse for 18 months before getting my first job in the Pharmaceutical industry.

I only lasted for 9 months with my first company as the culture and the people weren’t a good fit, so I was a bit nervous about my decision at that point! I then was offered a job with Servier as a GP Sales Representative.

From the first interviews with Servier, I knew this was a very different company. It's the people at Servier that really separates us from other Pharmaceutical companies. Being relatively small, you aren’t just a number, you are part of a big family where everyone knows your name and cares about you.

I have been with Servier for 10 years now, my last 7 being in the Training Department. I truly believe that we have excellent products in each of their respective classes, so when I train Representatives it is with passion, as I believe we are saving lives and making a difference to people and their loved ones.

I enjoy the positive challenges of working in training and feel extremely fortunate to work with this enthusiastic and motivated group of professionals. I very much look forward to my next 10 years with Servier.
